just bought my imac 27' i7 2 weeks ago and so far i returned it twice because of the tiny crack in the screen and this is gonna be the third time today because of the stuck pixel. This is the first time me owning mac and so far all have is problem....now im debating if i should get my money back or give it another shot since they reset your 14 days return policy from the day you did the return or maybe i can ask them to let me upgrade to mac pro with out extra cost since all i have was problem. but anyway, here is the picture to my stuck pixel. let me know what chu think. thanks

It depends on if you really need a new comp right now. I'm also returning my 3rd iMac tomorrow and I'm going to ask for the refund and wait with purchasing a new iMac until the next one gets released... it seems like this last iMac has been having tons of issues so hopefully they'll fix it in the next release.
But, if you really need a new comp then I'd ask about the Mac Pro but don't think thats going to happen.

sorry to hear about cracks , but one dead or one stuck pixel is "normal" on any lcd display and some monitor manufacturers even have policies where you have to accept up to "amount differs from 10-20" of them before its considered a reason to return a monitor 
but apple is usually quiet reasonable when it comes to returning iMac's for those tiny imperfections , having said that i doubt very much they will exchange for a MacPro at no extra cost, having said that there is a slim chance if you ordered a completely fully maxed out iMac i7 in first place , they might let you exchange for the basic MacPro

Apple uses IPS panels that have many benefits (viewing angles and color accuracy) over cheaper TN panels but are more complex to make and have more flaws. The bigger the panel; the greater the likelihood of flaws.
I believe larger displays can have 5 or 6 before warranty applies. You have one year (three with AppleCare) to make a claim so use it for awhile before you go for another exchange. My display has one and I only noticed it when I look for it. Often they work themselves out with use.

i totally forgot about this post. but i just want to thank those people who's trying to help. i end up returning the imac anyways and now im waiting for my mac pro to arrive. i know i end up spending more money but i avoided the hassle of carrying a 40lbs computer back and fort to the apple store. again thanks for the help guys.
