Post a reply if you agree that Apple should have a Zero Dead / Stuck Pixel Policy. All they have on their website is vague paragraphs about screen abnormalities, not good enough. LCD manufacture is getting cheaper and has a lower rate of defective screens, so why is having a Zero Dead Pixel Policy such a problem? Samsung, Hitachi, Phillips are just a few who have a similar policy.

But then Samsung, Hitachi, Phillips don't attach $900 worth of computer electronics to the backs of their monitors. Hence more willing and cost tolerable to replace them.

All this is true, but my position is that if Apple is going to build computers with built in display panels, which gives a buyer little option, then those panels should be perfect, not just in the store, but over the reasonable useful life of the product, and QC should be extra high on those parts.

Paying a premium price for Apple built products shouldn't make customers' expectations lower, should it?
