Hi, first time poster, been lurking for a long time. I do have a question and hope someone can help me. I received my iPad in the mail on the third. On Saturday night, I noticed the screen was bleeding on the side so I called Apple support and they set up an appointment with me to exchange my iPad for a new one. Now I have a pretty minor issue with the new one. I have a dead pixel when I open up the Netflix app or when a red screen is shown only in portrait mode. There are no other issues with it. Is that a reason enough to get that replaced or even get replaced with a 3G whenever it comes out? I might wait a week and maybe by then we get the announced 3G date and still be within the 14 day return date. I am just concerned about the one pixel, I like my electronics to be perfect. Thanks

I had a 16GB that was a pre-order. I exchanged it because of a scratch on the screen. I then upgraded to the 32GB, but it had screen bleeding issues. I exchanged that one for another 32GB but it also has the same backlight bleeding. A manager at the Apple store told me both of his have the same issue.

Now, my new 32GB has backlight bleeding AND a stuck pixel. I'm going to return it and wait for the 3G. I can promise you I won't be paying a restocking fee.
