I purchased an iPad 7th gen exactly a month ago and just today noticed a dead pixel. I purchased it from bestbuy (last time I purchase from them) and they only have a 14 day return policy. I contacted Apple support and they are sending a box for me to mail it for repairs. I have two concerns. One is will they even repair it if it only has one dead pixel ? I’ve read that some places don’t . And Second, I have AppleCare but I’ll Be super frustrated if hey chalk this up as accidental damage and they charge me for a repair .

Has anyone had experience with Apple in these regards? If so what did they end up doing ? im really just frustrated I didn’t notice this sooner because frankly I would prefer to just exchange it but that time has passed.

Thats the risk of buying iPads from Best Buy.
