This morning I noticed something funny about my home screen. On the dock, about the middle of the icons there is a white spot behind the phone icon. I have a transparent dock. So I moved all of the dock icons to the springboard, and noticed that it wasn't just a dot, it looks like a tiny brush stroke. Uneven and jagged. It stops and starts again in the middle and at the very end.
Automatically I thought, dead pixel but when I downloaded a pixel checker, it didn't show any of them dead, and when I put the screen to all black just as the main background on the spring board is, the light greyish/white spots do not show up. I tried to take a picture, and in my photos on my phone it shows up, but on the computer you can't see it. Maybe if i download it on here it will show up.
Do you guys know what this is? Is it hardware or software, and the phone is not even 3 months old, so would it be covered if I took it to Apple?
EDIT: after posting I saw that the spots did not show up, but the first one is about 4 centimeters below the "M" on Mail and they travel across the screen.
EDIT #2: You actually CAN see it, but you have to tilt your computer screen a down and kinda look from the top. Sorry..
