Looks like I have 2 dead pixels not stuck pixels after all. See my other thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/343242/. Thanks to those who pointed me to the pixel exerciser but after reading the instructions it seems to be either a dead pixel or dust trapped in the screen.
One point is down in the bottom left of the screen and not really an issue, but the other is right in the middle of the screen.
It could be dust stuck in the screen (as it looks more red on a white screen) but its not a stuck pixel as on a black screen it disappears altogether.
Not sure if I should just ignore it or send the imac back. 90% of the time I have to look for it to find it but every now and then its noticeable.
I want to keep this machine for a long time so sending it back might make sense but also getting it was such a pain, and if I send it back should I just give up and wait for leopard.
