Hi all ;)

Ι paid more than 600euro to replace my video board with new on my iMac 2010 A1312.
However technician obviously didn't know about K5-PRO so he used some good quality thermal pads. Unfortunatelly these pads are thicker than what needed and as result heat sink didn't touch properly on the GPU and it got overheated and it failed in less than six months.

I am publishing this hoping that other users will not do the same mistake and waste money as well as one of these rare to find boards.

There is no "new" model of this card, they are all used.
Most likely, ths card got "baked". In that case, you can simply bake it again. Search web/forum for details on how to do it.
And having paid 600 EUR, you got ripped-off. You can buy 2 iMac 2011 27" for that money.
From your pic, it looks like the paste on the cooler was properly spread out, so your conclusion could be incorrect.

It's a pity you didn't do a little more research on this forum beginning forking out big money on another video board. Yes it's unfortunate that you were 'ripped-off by a technician who didn't tell the known true story about these boards.
I had little or no experience about these but when asked by a friend of a friend if I could do something about his unserviceable iMac that was displaying graphical artifacts, I started doing some research. That was over 2 years ago, and here's my write-up of the reflow repair - which I knew would only be temporary, but served the owner for a further 8 months or so.

Interestingly enough when the owner originally asked if I had a solution to 'repair' the iMac, he didn't ask if there was any cost involved (there wouldn't have been anyway), although when he came to collect his now-functioning iMac he just thanked me and carried it away. I certainly wasn't expecting any monetary recompense, but certainly would have appreciated at least the offer of a coffee......c'est la vie!
That may explain why I never heard from him later asking if I could help him out again!
