A friend in another state is giving me her iPhone. Does the person need to deauthorize it from her iTunes? Also when I get it can I reformat it before I go to AT&T to activate it?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

She shouldn't have to deauthorize it but I would just reformat and start over. All you have to do is click restore in iTunes when you get it.

So I take it out hook it to my computer and I should be able to restore it? Then I take it to store and get it activated. Then when that is done I can hook it to my mobile me and grab everything. Bring it home and sync to iTunes to get my music and I am good to go from there. Do I have this right?
