Well I have been contemplating jailbreak my iphone. I feel as if it won't be the same of I unjailbreak as if files are left behind from my jailbreak. And what if problems continue past jailbreak when restored. Also I can't really buy themes since I don't have a credit card / pay pal. So should I jailbreak? I really want to make my device minimalist ect.

I'd say go for it. If you don't like it, restore as new and be happy with a stock phone. But, I'm betting you like the jailbreak. I know I love mine..best of luck!

there are tons of minimalistic themes out there for the i5. go through the jailbreak screenshots thread and you'll know. its worth it!

You're over thinking this.

You don't even have to install themes. There's a lot of jbers ( not Justin biebers..:))) that are just running the stock theme. It's very nice to build up tweaks around it that might not show so much , you see?

If you are questioning yourself then you shouldn't JB. This proves that you are not sure what you want/need and your lack of knowledge of what JB can do.

1) You don't need to buy theme when you JB. Many just stay stock (including me).

2) There are many other tweaks that JB allows you to do; hence JB is not equal to themes.

Just a note that credit cards aren't a real worry here. Cydia does not require a credit card just to use it, unlike the iTunes app store. If you do decide you want to buy something it's either PayPal or Amazon's payment system.

But there are far more free themes, tweaks, apps and other downloads in Cydia then there are paid. And themes are one of the most abundant.

Well at least I know I can but themes now. How bout will any files be left over Even if I restore. Could problems carry over past my jailbreak even with stock firmware.
