Hello everyone, I’m a size 6.5 men’s small medium band but I have ordered the 42 mm Apple Watch.

It looks too small and we compared to my 45 mm a series 7 not sure if you exchange it for the 46 mm.

I have provided a picture or two on here so I want you guys’s opinion

What is that smudged watch with this bulky case? Your small one with some extra volume?

The band you are using is adding the little problem, that it makes it bigger in vertical length. The size of the 45/46 mm is ok. A band without a "loop" at one end would immediately make it smaller. I do have a similar problem regarding wrist size. No band with "loop" for me and it looks great.

Otter box and yes that the small one.

I do wear glasses, but I noticed that the 42 mm it’s more smaller and I would prefer the bigger one, I need to be sure it’s gonna fit with my small wrist.

Which one would be like the best one to get?

I do understand, that we all want to protect our precious watches from being scratched - by hiding them behind a piece of plastic until they die. I do not want to be rude, but watches live with us on our wrists and a Rolex without scratches is a dead Rolex...

I am small wristed too, I even wear an Ultra. Give it a try, remove the 4 mm plastic and add the size to the bigger watch.

It is also a question of getting used to the size. If you like the screen of the 46 mm because it helps you with your glasses - get used to it and enjoy the big one. ;)

You did remark, that your OtterBox watch has about the same size as the right one on the picture with two watches...

I do like the 46MM but idk the 42 fits fine screen to small

Which do I go with ?

FWIW (probably very little), when I bought my first AW, I was convinced I wanted the smaller one because my wrist is very small. I'm glad I went to the Apple store and tried on both sizes because I knew immediately that I wanted the larger size.

I have a small wrist too and was worried about the size of the Ultra 2, but got used to the larger size fairly quickly. I usually wear long sleeves so the watch doesn’t stand out. YMMV.

Like for a 6.5 inch wrist, he can get a small/medium band and/or a small trail loop for example. If he’d get 46mm Apple Watch and/or Apple Watch Ultra.
I was looking into that, but I'm not 100% sure if the watch itself is gonna make much the difference the size for my wrist since it's small? I'm noticing with a 42 mm that some of the bands look like a woman's. Sizing.

Did you try sport loops on the 42mm s11?

Only mailasense loop and the sport band S/m

I have time if I want to exchange it with my carrier.
Got it. I don’t think all Apple Watch straps of the 42mm series 11s are designed exclusively for women’s wrists.

However, you can still wear them by using link bracelets, Nike bands, and sport loops and bands. Every band should look fine on your wrist.

If you prefer the bulkiness of the Ultra and/or its straps, you’ll need to exchange your 42mm series 11 for an Ultra 3 or a 46mm Apple Watch series 11.

I’m stuck in between both.

I think the large one looks comically large on your wrist. But that is only my opinion.

Best ist to wear what you like and you feel best in.

Keep the 42mm then

Since OP said the m/l and all the 46mm/45mm straps run too big for him.

But if you want to save the 45mm straps from the Apple Watch Series 7 you will need the 46mm. Otherwise it would be a waste as 45mm bands are only for big watches.

I didn’t try s/m only only 42m not 46m

Only Nike band tried and the metal one.

I guess try 46m in person from there.

True I invest 6 bands on the 45 didn’t size down till someone told me it looked huge on me.

With 42 only have the metal band on the titanium.

I have a much tinier 5.5 inch wrist and this is how 46mm watches look on me. Both pics of series 11 and 10.

And ultra 2 and 3.

Most straps I have to wear small/medium and ultra bands I have to pull them all the way through.

42 mm and 46mm titanium with pride strap.

In this perspective the 46mm is a bit too big for me but I fit the straps that are small/medium fine.

Don’t waste your money on the years you collected straps.

Unless you plan on keeping both the 45mm and the 42mm, get the 46mm series 11.

I never had to restart my band collection because I decided to always upgrade to smaller watches every time I needed to upgrade.
