I just ordered a new iPhone X from Verizon tonight.
They are offering $400 off (24 monthly installments) with no trade-in.
They also waived the activation fee and my trade-in for my iPhone 7plus 256g was $331.

All in, I’ll be around $350 for a brand new iPhone X for the next two years.

This deal ends Friday (November 23).

So with tax you are saying around $15.00 a month. I can agree that it seems to be good deal but realized you are then trapped in a 2 contract that will have lots of small print and traps. I quit buying on installments years ago and when I bought my XS I simply payed for it up front and then I can shop for the plans that best fit my lifestyle that are cheaper, that is where the real savings is at. I have a over age 55 unlimited plan for T-Mobile that is 2 lines and $60.00. I just do not want to have a carrier overcharging me for a service that I do use. This probably does not work for everyone but it does for me. I also see that AT&T is also offering up deals similar so I imagine that T-Mobile and Sprint will not be far behind.

I get what you're saying. I'm not in a position to purchase outright and right now we're on a family plan and Verizon has the best coverage needs for our family. I was on the payment plan with my iPhone 7 Plus and never really thought about opting out of it.

I'm also half way tempted to jump on this. Coming from 7 plus and was thinking of holding out for next year but this is a pretty good deal to get a 256 X for 650 brand new. Not to mention no trade-in so then I can just sell the 7 plus i have or trade in for additional money off.

Decisions. Decisions.

Strange. Mine still says 1/11. However it looks like my empty box for my trade is preparing to ship. Are you sure that’s not what yours is?

Not as far as I can tell. Both the email summary and the order page on the Verizon website both say a phone has shipped. I ordered the space gray. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Maybe, I ordered silver.
