Decided! (24" vs. 21.5")

After personal and emotional (jk) debate, I purchased the 21.5" base model iMac and couldn't be happier.

My biggest issue was with buying the 24" refurbished model for $100 cheaper - but after seeing the two side by each at Best Buy yesterday, I made my decision. The screen size is negligible, but the panels are night and day! Believe it or not, the 24" screen was noticeably washed out looking compared to that of the 21.5" LED panel. The colors "popped" more on the LED screen and it just looked nicer.

To boot, you get the wireless package including the Magic Mouse, faster processor, more RAM and the SD card slot. The 21.5" was the better purchase for me. So for anyone still debating, I made my decision - now whats yours?!

I've been waiting FOREVER to replace my 5 years old ThinkPad R52. I was waiting for the iMac refresh. I am very pleased with the current refresh! LED screen, AND quad core??? Nice. I will be getting the 27" i5 with 2x2 gb ram... Will buy 2x2gb sticks later to make it 8gb. The 4850 is more then enough, since the current games I am playing are Plants vs Zombies, and Warcraft 3... ehhe. I'm guessing it will also be more then enough for Diablo 3 and Star craft 2.

The only reason that I didn't order mine is that I don't want to wait 1 month for a preorder... the waiting would kill me.

I will, instead, wait for them to be available in store.
