General Deciding on my first macbook

I’m finally ready to buy my first MacBook, and I’m torn between two options: the MacBook Pro 13-inch M2 (2022) or the MacBook Pro 13-inch M1 with 16GB RAM.

im lookin for the future i know the M4 are coming out but the money is thight.

If money is tight, buy the cheapest.
If new or used, pick new so you can get warranty.
If M1 or M2, there is no extreme difference between the two except M2 might get a year or two more updates than M1.
If 8GB or 16GB, 8GB is still decent but pick according to your need.
