I'm trying to find a way to decode the ArtFile.bin file in order to theme the red, orange and green traffic lights on the top left corner of the windows in OS X. The file is located at /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Versions/A/Resources. After a bunch of research, I came across a tool to decode this said file called artFileTool by Alex Zielenski but I'm completely lost on how to use it. I tried following the instructions listed below but I get the error "./ArtFileTool: No such file or directory."
Create new folder: TheFolder Copy the Lion ArtFile.bin
(/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Resources) and
artFileTool on TheFolder.
Launch Terminal, type "cd" + "space" + (drag TheFolder on Terminal
window). Type enter.
To decode ArtFile.bin and compile a folder Resources Disconnected
Classified:
./artFileTool -d ArtFile.bin ResourcesDisconnectedClassified
So here's what I did; I went to this site to download the tool: https://github.com/alexzielenski/artFileTool and downloaded all of it as a .zip which I then extracted and was left with a folder called artFileTool-master. I then created a folder called "TheFolder", cd into this folder with terminal, and pasted the artFileTool-master folder along with the ArtFile.bin file inside TheFolder. Then I ran the command as stated above in the tutorial: ./artFileTool -d ArtFile.bin ResourcesDisconnectedClassified and was left with the error: -bash: ./artFileTool: No such file or directory. Did I do something wrong? All help is very appreciated.
