Does anyone know why the 'Apple TV 2' and 'Apple TV 3' default presets do not work once encoding has finished, my first generation Apple TV (Silver one) will not accept the finished file.

Is it something to do with the version of The Apple TV? Or am I doing something wrong? :p

I may be wrong, and I'm sure that someone else will correct me if I am, but I think that the ATV 1 is not powerful enough to handle HD files meant for the ATV 2 and 3.
For ATV 1 you need to use the ATV 1 presets.

Maybe it's because you don't own an Apple TV 2 or 3.

I just assumed cause it was the same file type at the end of the day it shouldn't be a problem, but your right that makes a lot more sense ha ha.
Guess Apple will get a further £99 from me.
