Default Apps

I heard on the news that Apple is working on allowing its users to delete default apps. Does anyone have any info on when to expect this update?

Don't think there's been anything new in relation to that aside from that comment from Tim Cook a few weeks ago.

Looks like you'll be able to do it in iOS 10.
