Hey!
I'm curious, have you guys discovered any jailbreak tweak that defaults Bluetooth voice input to iPhone instead of the adapter?
Example: When you connect to a Bluetooth adapter, like your car to stream music, your phone outputs all sound to that adapter-- but it also uses that adapter for sound input like Siri, dictation and phone calls. The problem is my adapter is my car, not a headset.
This makes Siri/dictation very annoying as I have to yell to get my voice into it... when I'm usually holding my iPhone right near my face (for the record, I never use the adapter for phone calls either).
In iOS 6, you can press Home to bring up Siri, and there is a new toggle to the right of her button that allows you to set the voice input back to iPhone instead of the Bluetooth adapter. This setting is not saved between Bluetooth sessions (if it was this tweak would be unnecessary), and so I have to do this many times a day as I am constantly in and out of my car.
I would much rather skip it. And it seems so simple.
Settings>Bluetooth>"Default sound input device: [iPhone|Connected Device]"
Or perhaps even just saving the toggle that's already in place.
The problem is, I can't seem to sweet talk Google the right way to find anything like this, if it even exists. Have you guys ever heard of anything like it?
Thanks for any response!
