Default Desktop Pictures: Which Folder?

hi all,

mac newbie/switcher here. where are the default desktop pictures stored? i changed my desktop pic recently and now i want to switch to the default pictures but i can't find the folder.

hope someone can help me with my dumb question.

For all your OS X questions...

I recommend the "Missing Manual for OS X" by David Pogue(?). This thing is just a heap of help when you're trying to figure out how to do stuff like this.
