OK I have SwiftKey set as my default keyboard. Sometimes it's the default keyboard that pops up and sometimes it's SwiftKey. I have SwiftKey set at the top. Ant ideas?

Drives me nuts lol. I might have to remove the keyboard until it gets fixed.

Is it only when passwords need to be entered, or in other instances as well when that happens?

It's random when it does it. But it seems more often than not I get the stock keyboard. I haven't found any way to replicate it.

Yeah I have Swiftkey pop up for one message in iMessage and when the screen times out, the stock keyboard comes up upon resuming. Very inconsistent. I use the stock keyboard now until Swiftkey implements long press for numbers, symbols, and punctuations like in Android!

This just happens from time to time with any third-party keyboard, and there's not much you can do about it. Apple's API for third-party keyboards is not entirely stable.

Indeed that is the case here. I also recently saw a message from Google in their Gmail app even deleting support for iOS9 users to user third party keyboards because of iOS instabilities according to them. It does work fine btw with e.g. Swype or Go Keyboard on iOS9.2 within the Gmail app to e.g. swipe words.
