Odd one, this. I've had this (minor) issue since, I dunno, iOS 7?

When I buy a new app, or get a new free app, the default download location is on the second (last) page screen rather than my home screen, even though there is space on my home screen for new apps. And today a new app I downloaded showed up in an existing folder.

What's the logic behind where new downloaded apps show up? I'd like mine to turn up on the home screen!

Apps haven't installed on the home screen for a while now. Even if you have nothing on your phone it installs on the second page. Or at least has for me as I always do fresh installs when running between beta and gm etc.

As for apps installing in previous folders I like this feature.

Thanks. I'd personally prefer it if apps downloaded either to the home screen, or the screen from which you accessed the App Store app. But I won't hold my breath!
