Does anyone else have this issue? I just opened my M3 Air and the display has such a strong yellow hue to it, it looks horrible. I read somewhere online that this is normal? It can't be.

I've tried looking for a way to calibrate the build in display and I can't find anything, Is there really no way to calibrate the LCD?

Im just wondering if I have a defective unit and need to exchange.

Thanks

Return if possible, ASAP. NO excuse, surely.

By any chance do you have True Tone on? I remember the first time I used it on a device the screen seemed really yellow to me, until I got used to it.

I just received a new MBA 15" today via UPS. I've been using it for a few hours and my screen seems just fine. OP's may be defective and should consider returning it for an exchange perhaps.

Sanity check: Did you check to see if night shift got turned on?

If not, definitely take into Apple.

True Tone is off. Night light is off. True Tone may sound nice but I notice it does weird things to the color hues depending on what ambient lighting is in, so I turned it off.

I think I have it fixed, doesn't look to be a hardware issue phew. It seems to be an issue with my Chrome dark mode extensions. When I opened Safari, everything looked perfectly fine and how it should. Maybe I just stick with using Safari on the new air.

Phew, thank god. I wasn't wanting to pack it all up and head back to Best Buy so soon. I just opened this thing like 6 hours ago.

Im glad to finally find the calibrator. Too bad there's no way to bump the saturation up a bit more.
