Hey guys, just need some confirmation of my options:
My iPhone is a US model, week 39 on 1.1.1 Jailbroken and unlocked with AnySIM. I'm use it in UK on a Virgin contract SIM fine. I've also used it abroad on numerous local SIM cards without problem.
Bootloader 3.9, Modem 04.01.13_G, EEPROM 207, EEPROM Rev 8.
Previously I tried NateTrue's 1.1.3 method but something went wrong at the very last stage. So went back to the above.
I'm just after clarification if it's possible to go to 1.1.3, jailbreak for 3rd party apps, activate it and retain the unlock (or re-unlock it) so I can still use the phone in the UK with my Virgin SIM and other country-specific local SIMs, although this is not too critical.
Failing 1.1.3 not being possible, I'd like to go to 1.1.2 using this guide to see if that will display Chinese characters correctly in Mail which 1.1.1 doesn't do. I'm thinking it will because of the International UI language additions.
I need your expert advice, people. I don't need a bricked phone!
