Is this possible, to improve game performance? I know it's straightforward on a pc but can you do it under bootcamp?

why couldn't you?

it'll only defrag the windows partition, of course, but it's the same as running any other program under windows.

Yes, you can. A mac is no different than any other PC hardware wise for the Intel macs.

I highly doubt you'll see any noticeable difference in game performance. The most that my happen is HDD access may be decreased, and when loading levels/maps in a game, the time it takes to load it may be decreased (I doubt you'll notice it though).
