Trying to figure out how to remove all of my contacts/calendar/email items but definitely retain the iPhone's unlocked and jail-broken status before giving it to my daughter???

Thank You...

if you have the 2.1 software...Settings/General/reset - Erase all content and settings:)

My iPhone is on 2.0.1 but does have the option you mention (above).

Choosing "Erase all content & settings" will definitely NOT re-lock the phone to AT&T or remove the jail-broken capabilities???

Thanks...

In regards to the Jail break, no it wont change anything. Now the Carrier lock, I dont know, never unlocked the iPhone.
