Hi I have this app whose icon is on launchpad on my macbk pro running Yosemite

I want to delete this icon but even if I press the option key this icon doesn't wiggle so deletion is not possible. How do I get rid of this icon then?

Kindly assist

Go to Users/Applications and remove it in there, also remove it from your regular Applications folder.

I solved it in Yosemite as follows in terminal:

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db ; killall Dock

defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool true; killall Dock

What about doubles of icons in LaunchPad (running El Capitan beta)?
Deleting the application is not the answer because I still want some of the applications...but it seems there are 4 versions of Google/Gmail, etc - one for each Google account I have. Thx in advance for any help/ideas.
