I am trying to remove App Store applications from my hard drive, but I can't FIND THEM...

I deleted the application from my iTunes menu, but for some reason it still installs every time I sync.

Does anyone know where the heck iTunes puts the app files so I can delete them?

PS-this is a MAC OS X question-thanks!

You didn't mention if you were on a Mac or Windows. I'm not sure about Windows but on the Mac they are in the Music>iTunes>Apps (or applications or something like that) And even if you delete them from the HD, as long as you have those apps on your iPhone, they'll keep syncing back to your computer's HD so...

To the OP....this guy is correct. If you delete an app off the iTune app section and also delete it off your phone....when you go to sync, a pop-up should occure on your Mac stating "do you want to transfer data from your phone to Mac?"

if you click "yes", it'll basically re-install your deleted app back on both systems.

if you click "no", then the app will be deleted from both systems.

peace out!

Recover aps

I have paid for 2 apps that I accidently deleted, from iTunes and Phone. As there any way to recover these files, since I do have an iTunes receipt for them?

Send a polite email explaining your error to the app store support people. If it's anything like the music store they'll do something to allow a re-download and take a not of it. They normally seem to allow one re-download a year or so.

all you have to do is re-download them. once you click on the "buy" button, your iTunes account will recognize that you purchased them before and say something to the effect of "you have already purchased this product; would you like to d/l it again at no charge?"

that's it!
