Hi,

Looks like I am running out of space, and can't truly work out if there must be duplicates of pics or pics I can't see on my iPhone which are taking up space in my iCloud. If I "delete back up" in settings on my iPhone will I lose all contacts, if after I straight the way click "Backup" and it will then back up everything which is current on my iPhone including all settings etc?

Thanks

Deleting the backup will not change anything on your iPhone. You should be ok.

Will it not delete my whatsapp and iMessage on my mac? As in all my threads and conversations? Also, it won't delete all my saved specific app data which is currently on the phone which I assume was backed up from the iTunes back up and the iCloud back up...

The backup does not change anything. You will be fine. I've deleted several backups before in iCloud and I've had no problems.

Good luck. I've been turning off and deleting backups and then turning back on for weeks. The iCloud backups keep growing and growing. I had to go back to iTunes backups as I was running out of iCloud space.
