Hey everyone. I'm not sure if this is a feature I've missed that may have been implemented over the past. I know in 5.1 you can now delete photos from photo stream on the iOS device... But is there a way to edit and delete multiple photos at once yet or do you still have to go photo by photo?

If you are in the Photos app on your iOS device and click the little arrow in the top right of the screen (while on the screen where you can see all of your photos), then you can tick multiple photos and then click delete to delete multiple photos.

For editing, I'm not sure if there's a way to do it with iPhoto or some other 3rd party app, but as far as I'm aware there isn't a way to do it inside Photos.

Click on the button in the upper right corner. This gives you the ability to select multiple photos and delete them.

How did I never work this out?! Thanks, this will make life a lot easier!

Another way is to connect your iDevice to your PC/Mac, close iTunes if it opens, and open the iDevice as if it were a drive. You will see a folder, which if you open contains DCIM (photo folder) and a folder for videos.

Just as you would do with any folder on your computer, you can delete directly from the iDevice ... or drag/drop any photo to a folder on your computer. This doesn't delete the photos (the drag/drop) from the iDevice - they are copied at full size.
