I have got a strange problem here. When I receive email at .Me, I can see it both on .Me (www.me.com) and my iPhone. But if I then delete the message on my iPhone, it doesn't delete it on .Me. I've never had this problem using Gmail IMAP on my iPhone. I've tried both Push mode and Fetch mode on the iPhone and neither seems to help. Any ideas? If it helps, my iPhone only has WiFi. I cancelled AT&T back in January.

Same here. I have emailed my self tests emails from .mac to .me etc and a million combinations but even if I can interact between the 'push' of computer and 'cloud', whatever I do with the iPhone is isolated with no interaction.

Same thing for me. Let me retype it since I had a hard time understanding the first time I read your post.

1. Get an e-mail on your iPhone, then delete it.

2. Log into me.com and the e-mail you deleted is still in your Inbox among other e-mails you might of deleted already on your iPhone.

3. Once you delete the e-mail a SECOND time but from me.com, all the e-mails that were previously deleted on your iPhone disappear from the inbox as if the box just decided to catch up at that moment.

Just wondering if others are seeing this too. I am on the new 3G + AT&T with a full paid account on MobileMe, not trial.

Okay, I've done some experimenting and narrowed this down some. The problem lies at www.me.com. Over the last couple of hours, I've been reading my email on both my iPhone as well as on my WM based Moto Q. I've been able to read the messages fine and delete them fine on my iPhone (and Q). But for some reason they still appear in the .Me inbox, even though they are deleted. When you go into the inbox and try to open the deleted message, it will disappear and all other messages that you've deleted will disappear also. I would think that since the problem is on the .Me side, that Apple should be able to fix it easier than say if it was on the iPhone side.

Also, FWIW push calendar is now working fine between my iPhone and .Me. Push email still doesn't deliver though. I still have to do a manual fetch, whenever I want to read my email. But this is not a biggie to me.

I won't jump ship on .Me yet. I really would like to get this to work and hopefully the Apple folks are busy trying to figure it out. I really have a secret agenda here. By moving my email, calendar, contacts, etc. to .Me, that is my first step to eventually buying me a Mac (probably a mini, if they are still being sold).

PS - Sorry for repeating what island posted. I should have read more carefully. Anyway, this confirms it is a repeatable problem. That is the easiest kind to fix. I just hope someone has reported it to Apple (surely someone has).

I know for many of you deleting from iphone and having .me delete is really the way to go... but for us its kind of nice if it doesn't work that way. A lot of people including us have one .me account and two iphones... so if one of us were to read and delete an email, it might be gone from anothers phone before its read. Is that right?
