My Apple ID is: xxxx@icloud.com. When I log in, I discover there is another one: xxxx@me.com. Exactly the same user name, but different domain. I like to keep things simple and want to delete that xxxx@me.com email addy. I tried iCloud.com and Apple ID management web sites to no avail. Also called Apple Support a few minutes ago. The rep said he wasn't able to do it. The reason he gave is that the user names before the different email domains are the same, namely, xxxx. If the user names were different, he would be able to. At least, that was what he suggested.

Do you know if there's a way to delete that @me.com email addy?

As I said, I like to keep things simple.

You can’t delete the @me alias email as it is directly tied to your iCloud account. Just forget all about it and you will be fine.
Except I did NOT create that alias! It was something that automatically happened on Apple's end. TBH, I didn't even know that I had a @me.com addy until last night when I tried to send an email to someone. I don't write emails often.
