Delete ringtone

I purchased a ringtone from the iTunes store on the iPhone and I decided I don't want it. I synced the ringtone to my computer, then deleted it. After syncing it was still there!

I even unelected sync tones and selected it again in iTunes and the ringtone was still there. I restored from an iCloud backup but that didn't work either!

Any suggestions?

I had a problem like this but it was with a movie. It went away on its own, even though I tried most of the stuff you have.

My advice is give it some time and see if it goes away.

The issue i have is i downloaded a ringtone from iTunes, it shows in the ringtones section on my iTunes, everything is ticked and other ringtones sync to my iPhone 4 apart from this one. its 30 seconds long so its cropped ok !!
