I think he means leaving the ecosystem, but one thing to consider for the future when Apple does something others will follow, moving onto Android or Windows or even maybe Linux your privacy will not be safe.

This CSAM scanning will come to others platforms as well at some point, because they also want to be seen doing the right thing.
