Deleted account in mail OSx 10.5

I have three accounts on my Mac airbook. Today I accidently deleted one of them. I really need to recover it. Please help me (No lifted fingers, or "youknowbetterattitude" is appreciated) Thanks in advance. Br Rasmus

You have no backup of any kind I suppose, like Time Machine?

I bought an Iomega NAS device, and I tried to hook it up with my mac, but it seems like it isn't working.

Cant I use some kind of datarecovery tool?

You can use some kind of data recovery tool, but you have to stop all writing process to the internal HDD immediately, meaning you shouldn't start the OS from your internal HDD.

Anyway, take a look at your Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Library / Mail folder and see if you can find remnants of your deleted mailbox there and maybe can restore from it. I presume you already have looked into the Trash?
