Long time lurker, first time poster.
Maybe I'm the worst at search ever, but I cant for the life of me figure this out.

So, I started getting all these 'exceeded number of something-or-others' from cydia. So I just started deleting jail broken crap I don't really use.

In that process, I stupidly delete 'bigboss icon set' and lost any and all ability to access Cydia or SB Settings... What do I need to to get my icons back?!

I have successfully rejailbroken my 4s with evasion twice now to fix issues like this. I also deleted some things I shouldn't have.

You have to delete sources, not uninstall packages to remove the exceeded number error

This is a common problem and is posted many times a month when there are already existing threads everywhere

Edit: once you no longer get the error, you should be able to find the bigboss icons package and install it back (just make sure not to remove any default repo's)

Exactly.
That's what happens when you start deleting stuff you're not supposed to.
You were suppose to remove sources not packages installed.

correct me if im wrong but the *icon set* only serves to assign icons to the appropriate source. if you dont have that you should be getting a *?* instead of the icon for every package within that source.

having said this, it shouldnt really cripple your cydia at all - and you can download them again from your Big Boss repo.
