for some reason a couple of emails, sent from gmail account, still keep showing up in the "search iphone." these emails have been deleted and purged from the server but still remain. when i open them through search, they still contain the text and quicktime attachment. i try to delete them and they replicate. not sure what is going on. doesn't happen with all emails, just some.

Is your trash empty?

From what I've read, emptying the trash in mail does not fix the problem. I'm not sure how others are seeing these messages, after they deleted them, since I only saw threads to this, but wasn't that concerned about it. Like I said, there are threads about this issue already.
