Deleted Messages in viber

After upgrading to ios5 all my messages in viber have been erased. When I do a back up and restore they appear again but as soon as I click on viber, it instructs me that I have to register again, sends me an access code which I enter and then all of my old messages are gone. How do I keep my old message on the new operating system?
