I have a MacBook Pro from late 2016, and in an effort to fix stuff, I ended up deleting my Macintosh hd. Now, under internal disks, I have ”apple ssd…”

ive seen other threads talk about reformatting the the internal drive using a bootable thumb drive but that’s where I get stuck. I have a bootable thumb drive with Sierra on it, but I’m not sure how to reformat the disk, or if I should just erase it?

can someone walk me through how to reformat disks using bootable drive?

thanks!

Can you boot into internet recovery mode? Hold Command-Option-R while powering up. That will let you format the drive and install MacOS.
