Deleted photo album

Good day to all
went to sort out some old photos on my MacBook running BigSur.
went to delete a folder then after five minutes I realised it was the wrong folder. I looked in the bin not there.
Been on to google and it said look for the deleted folder on the left column where it shows albums recent but no recent deleted folder.
any help please.
Thanks in advance.
ps. This mistake was done within the last hour.

Got it. For some reason it had gone into another folder.

found the lost folder in another folder. How it happened don’t know.
