deleting 3rd party app

So I downloaded irealSMS, but it's conflicting with my regular SMS APP.
how do i remove irealSMS? When I highlight the icon, there is no "x" on it.

1st gen unlocked and JB 2.2.

If it's a jailbroken app, you delete it from within either Cydia or Installer; whichever you used to install it.
