ok I installed lion on the accelsior 960 gb pci drive which i am using lion on and typing this question from. How can I erase or delete the old 1tb lion boot drive, I know how to partition on disk utility but it keeps giving me an error. Im trying to erase and partition it. Here are some screen shots.Thanks for your help. Sorry for my english...

Try booting from the recovery partition and run disk utility off it.

Try writing zeros to it...

I had to boot the "recovery disk" from the old hard rive and go to disk utility to erase/partition it from there. Thank you for your input.:apple:
