For the first time ever i jailbroke my 5s since there was no other way to get rid of the two volume limits that the EU imposes on headphone outs.

I used to delete all content and settings every once in a while to get rid of the nasty 'other' space that tends to rise over time.

Being jailbroken i was wondering if this old trick of delete all content & settings would wipe my jailbreak as well.

Thanks in advance

If you delete all content and settings on a jailbroken phone, your phone will be left in a non bootable state. You will be forced to dfu restore.

If you want to get rid of the jailbreak, just do a clean restore, do not restore to backup, set up as new and use tabs in iTunes or iCloud to restore your content only (music, photos, music, contacts, calendar, notes, etc)

Ok. Thanks a lot for your valuable input. It saved me from a panic attack.

I'm afraid that when 7.1 rolls out i would have to deal with the 'other' storage taken via phoneclean and/or deleting apps.

Not very convenient but i won't restore my iPhone to non jailbreakable iOSs.
