Can one do that? Can it "sync" in the most basic way? I just wanna be able to delete something on the iPhone and have it deleted in my real Gmail account...Possible?

Deleting an email on iPhone, how do you get it to delete in Gmail also?

Don't think it's possible with gmail because it uses the thread-style "conversations" rather than individual email messages. I couldn't do it with my Blackberry either. I'd think that given how closely Google works with both Apple and RIM this would be possible by now, but I don't believe it is.
