Deleting Apps from AppleTV?

I'm not happy with the new UI of AppleTV. It's confusing and cluttered with app icons that I'll never use. Is there a way to delete the apps that I won't use?

Ha!!! Apple won't even let us remove the Stock/Compass/Weather/etc apps in iOS devices.

I can't believe we're entering a sixth generation with no hopes of such thing.
