I'm new to the iPhone world, now that Sprint is offering the phone. I want to delete some of the aps that came with the phone (like Stocks, which I know I'll never need), but I can't seem to delete them the way I can an ap which I had purchased and downloaded to my 4S.

Any help?

Thanks,

if you go to
Settings / General / Restrictions
and set that app Off, will it still be visible on home screen?

Besides the stock app (which isn't actually junk...just very niche in its user base) what else would you consider junk? I find them all extremely useful.

Voice Memos and Weather.

The apps themselves are fine, but I have other apps that I prefer for those functions so I called the folder "useless junk".

Stocks app isn't selectable there.

Youtube is pretty much the only useful thing the parental controls allow you to turn off. Everything else you just have to put in a folder on the last page.
