Hello,
I'm not sure if this problem is unique to SSD or Mavericks changed things or that something is wrong with my Mac SSD.

I removed a 20GB file off from my computer and to my surprise there's no increase in the available free space, I've even tested by removing some 2GB programs, and it's the same, it did not increase my free space.

Help!

Oh my bad, It appears DiskDrill is the one behind it as the guaranteed protection feature is turned on

Best guess is you need to empty your trash, if you were deleting via drag and drop.

Thanks, but I guess you must have missed the last updated line I wrote.

I'm a huge supporter for DiskDrill as it saved my photo data from going missing a few times :D
