I haven't yet discovered how to have Aperture remove images from my camera's memory card when its finished importing images.
Can someone help me out?
Thanks.

NEVER delete in the computer because that leaves extra junk on the memory card that the camera then can't understand and can cause problems down the road. Always delete/format in-camera.
And, yes, always check to make sure that the images are safely stored in the computer before you do anything else. As rjphoto mentions, it's a good idea to go ahead and right then and there back the images up to another drive or optical media, too, just to be sure. THEN go ahead and clear the card of the images.

BTW I never lost images when deleted them from computer

Go into your menu then format card. Check your owner's manual if you don't know how. You don't delete them one by one .
I use my iPod to backup my shots. So you're saying this isn't a "real" backup? Aside from the shots with my girlfriend or family, which someone else obviously has in either situation, I'm not THAT scared of losing my shots that I'll have them places other than my iPod, my hard drive, my flickr...Some words of advice:
Don't delete the photos from the memory card before making a real backup, ie. on CD.
You might thank me for this one day.
