Deleting music from Apple music

Does anyone know how long it takes to actually delete/remove all songs from Apple's servers ?

I must of "deleted from library" 5 times already, even sign-out and back in, yet the same music i "deleted" now re-appears..

If i delete 1 album, and come back later, its ok..... but seems deleting all Apple music albums/songs takes time, and when u "Delete from library" it only schedules the deletion on Apple's severs..


Does anyone know how long this takes ? I'm currently signed out now, but i'm thinking of waiting 30 minutes to see if all my music is gone.. No longer interested in AM, so thought I'd deleting it all before i cancel my subscription. I don't wanna have to delete a few at a time.. that would take ages.

Why are you signing out and back in after you delete a track of :apple:Music. If you delete off your iOS device it is gone. If you are canceling :apple:Music just turn off Show Apple Music & iCloud Music Library and then delete all the tracks and you are done.

No it doesn't.... for me anyway,, i check to make sure its gone...

but its still there.... I could just let my subscription expire, but i wanna make sure first its gone.. I may have to contact Apple and find this out

What are you referring to? :apple:Music is a library used by everyone so tracks aren't deleted just because you quit. The only tracks that would be deleted are unknown tracks that were uploaded. In this case Apple keeps them (and your Playlists, Library info & metadata) for a few months (I think) in case you resubscribe before deleting (a nice convince). This way you won't lose much. Again if you turn off Apple Music & iCML all :apple:Music WILL be gone to you and that is all that matters. What are are checking for that you are having a problem with?
