I'm looking to actually go into my purchase history and delete/hide certain songs that I do not want anymore FOREVER. I redeem a few songs back in the day when apple was having a free 100 song download promotion. Now they are showing up with iTunes Match and I want to get rid of them. Any ideas?

Delete the song from iTunes on your host computer, then it will ask you if you want to delete from iCloud, say yes, and move to trash. Finally, go to Store > Update iTunes Match, and it should be gone forever... as long as you empty your trash...
