deleting music

Is there a way to delete songs en masse from the music app? Or at least to delete entire albums at a time? Right now the only way I can find to do it is by deleting one song at a time which each album, which is really tedious. Any suggestions?

Go to settings/general/ipad storage/music (or iPhone storage depending on your device)

you can delete your entire library or select by artist and delete albums from there by selecting the edit feature

thanks this makes it so much easier! another bonus is that it displays the file sizes, which helps me know what to delete first to free up space on my phone.
