Hi, so I needed to clear up my camera so that I have free space to record videos for a group project today.

Instead of exporting/removing the pictures from my camera using iPhoto, I just clicked on my camera from the finder window, went into the folder all the pictures were on, dragged it to my desktop and deleted the original folder from my camera. I did this simply to go about the process quicker.

However I noticed that doing this didn't give me back any memory on my camera! D: The info on my camera still says that it has a capacity of 2GB but I have less that 50MB left.

I have a Casio Exilim camera and a Kingston SD card.
Any help would be appreciated because we need to start filming our video soon.

Thank you. :]

it's a good practice to format your card once you put it back in your camera (and you're sure you have all of your images on the computer)

this erases the card quickly and gets it ready to go
